Roxanne the Vampire Slayer

 

Season 1

 

 

 

Episode 1:             The Sun Always Shines on TV

(Based on the episode ‘Sweeps Week’ from the BtVS RPG Core Rulebook)

 

Roxy, the new Slayer, and her Watcher Jocasta, investigate a series of murders by decapitation.  They meet 3 girl vampires who used to be Slayers ( Las tres Cazadoras vampir); battle Xena, The Highlander, Magneto, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants; and make some new friends.

 

 

Episode 2:             Two Tribes

(Based on the episode ‘When Giants Clash’ from the BtVS RPG Directors’ Screen)

 

The two surviving Slayer Vampires disappear, and turn up as slaves in the power of two super-vampires who were pathetic minion vamps only days previously.  Seeking allies against the super-vamps, Roxy and Jocasta meet a local dentist with a tragic history and a deadly secret.

 

 

Episode 3:             How Roxy Got Her Groove Back.

 

Careless talk can cost lives when there’s a wish-granting demon around.  Roxy loses her powers, and Gabriella loses her unlife.

 

 

Episode 4:             She’s What I Go to School For

 

There’s a new French teacher at school and she’s got The Look.  She’s also got a sub-machine gun, a stake, and a burning desire for vengeance.  Gabriella gets a new Watcher, Jocasta gets a new admirer, and Teresa gets a ghostly visitor who’s trying to drive her insane.

 

 

Episode 5:             Tribute (the Musical episode)

 

Sweet’s in town, and there’s a song on everyone’s lips.  The campaign to drive Teresa to insanity or murder intensifies, but backfires when Sweet’s influence produces an opportunity for her to turn human.

 

 

Episode 6:             Scarborough Fair / Ships

 

The French Navy are coming for a friendly visit – until a sorcerer tries to merge the past and the present to bring an ancient terror back to Whitby and Scarborough.

 

 

Episode 7:             She Moves In Mysterious Ways

 

The new girl in the class has a shiny metal ass.  Jocasta and James are late for the emergency session of the Watchers’ Council.  The late Watchers’ Council.

 

 

Episode 8:             Girl all the Bad Guys Want

 

Watchers are an endangered species, and so are Potential Slayers.  Jocasta and James take off with the Slayers on a desperate rescue mission to Peru; but the girl in most danger is the one they left behind in Whitby.

 

 

Episode 9:             Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter

 

The Watchers and Slayers battle the Shining Path guerrillas in Peru to save Manuelita.  Jack battles the Bringers to save Louise – and is badly hurt.

 

 

Episode 10:           Over the Hills and Far Away

 

Jack pleads with Sally for help and is rejected.  The party in Peru faces a deadly peril from within its own ranks.  A betrayal and violent death from two centuries ago surface with cataclysmic effect on the present.  Roxy gets some financial news to her advantage.

 

 

Episode 11:           The Lion Sleeps Tonight

 

A prophecy discovered in Peru sends everyone off to Uganda, where they meet another surviving Watcher and a shaman who guards a mystical treasure.  The Demon Trials begin.

 

 

Episode 12:           The Ringworld Engineers

 

The Trials continue, and Roxy faces her greatest fear.  A treasure is won which will be of great value in the struggle.

 

 

Episode 13:           Rumble in the Jungle

 

Another Potential to rescue before they can go home.  They have their first encounter with Ubervamps; and must battle an army of fanatics led by an invincible maniac.  The Ringbearers return home; and Sally reveals the full implications of her secret to Jocasta. 

 

 

Episode 14:           Hotel California

 

Rings to deliver, and a Slayer to rescue from a world beyond a Hellmouth.  Jocasta and party meet Angel, Buffy, Spike, and Dawn; and Roxy meets Kennedy.  An Inca Mummy Girl prepares to meet her true destiny.

 

 

Episode 15:           Black Hole Sun

 

The world beyond the Hellmouth.  A world of peril beyond imagining.  Jocasta and party trek across a deadly wasteland and fight battles against powerful opponents; and Spike gets horny.

 

 

Episode 16:           Rescue Me

 

As the expedition to the Hellmouth nears its goal, Sally disappears and tragedy strikes Jenny.

 

 

Episode 17:           Crouching Tiger, Hidden Were-lynx

 

The return from the Hellmouth turns into a desperate mission of rescue and vengeance.  Triad hitmen, Oriental sorcerers, Hopping Vampires and the Master of the Flying Guillotine are only some of the enemies that must be defeated on the way to rescue Sally from her appalling captivity.

 

 

Episode 18:           Dust Part 1;     Frog on the Tyne

 

Sally reminisces about her first meeting with Jack.  He sees a way to regain his humanity, and must reconcile his desire for a normal life with Jocasta with the demands of apocalyptic battle.

 

 

Episode 19:           Dust Part 2;     15 Years

 

As Jack adjusts to his new humanity the Girl from 15 Years Ago re-enters his life in the worst possible way.

 

 

Episode 20:           Dust Part 3;     Dust on the Wind

 

The confrontation with Jack’s old enemy goes catastrophically wrong when the former vampire is forced to fight against two of his former loves.

 

 

Episode 21:           Conversations with Dread People          (Season Finale)

 

As Jack and Jocasta struggle to rebuild their relationship, a Voodoo Boccor comes to Whitby on a mission to take Roxy’s power.  Events in Sunnydale have dramatic effects on the Roxettes.

 

 

Episode 22:           Illegal Alien / Some Like it Hot  (post-Finale one-off)

 

The unprecedented gathering of Slayers in Whitby attracts the attention of hunters from beyond the stars, and Roxy becomes a trophy in a deadly game.  Gabriella and Ross must cope with news that will change their lives forever.
