Title: She’s
Gonna Break.
Point of view: Jenny.
Time frame: Episode
16 “Rescue Me”.
A
grenade is a small explosive, chemical, or gas bomb. It is used at short range;
thrown by hand or launched with a grenade launcher. The word grenade comes from
the French word for pomegranate, because early grenades looked like
pomegranates.
Grenades
first came into use around the 15th century and the name of the first inventor
is unknown. The first grenades were hollow iron balls filled with gunpowder and
ignited by a slow burning wick.
A
grenade killed my Uncle George and put my Aunt Elizabeth in the hospital. I do not know if she is going to get better.
I
feel very strange. I do not
understand. Why is he dead? Why can’t he be fixed? I want to scream “Make him not be dead any
more! Make her be better!” It is wrong.
They are good people and I love them very much. I want them back.
I
cannot cry. My ‘tear ducts’ dispense a
measured flow of lubricant to ensure free movement of my eyeball cameras and
facilitate the movement of the eyelids across the forward surfaces during eye
opening and closure. I cry anyway. There are no tears running down my cheeks but
I am still crying.
Julius
and Louise give me hugs. The hugs are
good but it does not help.
Someone
threw the grenade. I am going to find
that person or persons.
I am
going to make him/her/them be dead.
